Frieden ist zurzeit nicht "En Vogue", gut ist böse und böse ist großartig, also wäre es nötig, das Rad in eine andere Richtung zu drehen.
Es könnte zwar ein unrealistischer Traum sein, die Leute zu stoppen hasserfüllt zu denken und auch Kunst ist nicht in der Lage die Welt zu verändern, aber sie kann die Botschaft von Liebe und Frieden aussenden.
So sollten die Menschen diese überdenken und es wagen einen großen Schritt in eine friedliche Zukunft zu machen. Es ist an der Zeit, ein paar Friedenszeichen auszusenden, dies tut die Malerin in ihrer Ausstellung - "Peace People and other" 8 Gemälde and 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt


Während er in der traurigen Wirklichkeit fortwährend abgeholzt wird, nimmt er in den Vorstellungen vieler Gesellschaften einen besonderen Platz ein. Der Wald - Lebensraum für Pflanzen und Tiere, natürlich, aber eben auch Projektionsfläche für Geheimnisse, Mythen und Ängste, vor allem jedoch seltsam anheimelnd.
Genau diese Stimmung inspirierte Mario Strack bei der Komposition des Stückes "The Forest". Starkes Schlagwerk, zerbrechliche Harmonien und eine synthetische Stimme, die abstrakt und expressiv die urwüchsige Kraft des Waldes in Melodie verwandelt.
Illustriert hat der Künstler die Musik mit Photographien natürlicher Strukturen. Aufnahmen von Humus über Rinden bis zu Blättern und Blüten verschmelzen im Video zu einer fortlaufenden Metamorphose.

Peace is not "En Vogue" these days, good is bad and bad is great, so it would be necessary to turn the wheel in an other direction.
Indeed it might be a visionary dream to stop people to think in a hateful way and also art is not enabled to change the world, but it can send out the message of love and peace.
So people should think it over and dare to make a huge step into a peaceful future. It is time to send out some peace signs so did the painter in her exhibition - "Peace People and other" 8 paintings and 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt


While, in the sad reality, it is constantly cleared, in the imagination of many societies it takes a special place. The Forest - habitat for plants and animals of course, likewise also projection surface for secrets, myths and anxieties but principally peculiarly quaint.
It was exactly this mood, that inspired Mario Strack as he was composing the piece "The Forest". Strong percussion, fragile harmonies and a synthetic voice that is, abstract and expressive, transforming the elemental power of the forest into melody.
The artist was using photographs of natural structures to illustrate the music. In the video, shots from humus to rinds to leaves and blossoms melt into a constant metamorphosis.

"Es war einmal" ist auch heute noch, viele der Märchen die wir aus unserer Kindheit kennen sind hunderte von Jahren alt, so haben sie schon Erklärungsbedarf, weil sie gerade in Bezug auf die Gleichberechtigung eine Aktualisierung gebrauchen könnten. Die Ausstellung "Fairy Tales - Reloaded" ist dafür gedacht die Erinnerung aufzufrischen, Jacqueline Ditt zeigt neun Werke in gewohntem Stil, expressiv, surreal bisweilen auch mit Pop Art Elementen. Die Künstlerin gibt zu bedenken, dass es kritisch sein kann gerade die Gehirne von Kindern mit unterschwelligen Vorurteilen zu füttern. Zum Beispiel, junge Mädchen müssen hübsch, gutgläubig, gehorsam und unschuldig sein, ausserdem immer nach einem wohlhabenden Prinzen Ausschau halten. Andererseits sind ältere Frauen unansehnlich, Stiefmütter bevorzugt neidisch, eifersüchtig, gemein und auch hinterlistig. Während junge Männer gut aussehende Prinzen sind oder zumindest enorm gerissen um jede gefährliche Aufgabe zu bewältigen, häufig sind sie reich, oft sogar Könige, wenn sie älter sind, oder Helden und tapfere Ritter. All dieser "Märchen Stoff" ist zweifelsohne unterhaltsam, manchmal sogar lehrreich, deshalb will die Künstlerin sie auch substanziell nicht ändern aber sie sind was sie sind, sehr populäre "Alte Geschichten" und in Bezug auf tradierte Rollenklischees sollten wir uns doch eher in Richtung Emanzipation bewegen. - "Fairy Tales - Reloaded" 7 Gemälde und 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt


In seinem aktuellen Lied widmet sich Mario Strack wie so oft auf metaphorische Art der Betrachtung der Gesellschaft. Schon der Titel "How They Look" ist zweideutig. Im Text geht es um passives Beobachten bis hin zur Ignoranz wie auch um aktives Handeln bis hin zur Gewalttat. Ungeachtet der wahrhaft miserablen Ergebnisse, welche die Aktionen tatsächlich zeitigen, herrscht, von wenigen Zweiflern abgesehen, meist das entspannte Gefühl, man werde schon damit durchkommen und es werde alles gut ausgehen.
Die Bilder für den computer-animierten clip sind im radikal minimalistischen Stil gestaltet, Grafiken wie sie in der Vergangenheit auch schon Stücke wie "Generator" oder "At the Club" illustrierten. Daneben kommt auch bewegte Typografie zum Einsatz. Wie immer werden eine Reihe von Schlüsselbildern in einer limitierten Druckgrafik Edition erscheinen.

"Once Upon A Time" still is today, many of the Fairy Tales well known from our childhood are hundreds of years old, so they should be explicit because they need an update especially relating to gender equality.
The exhibition "Fairy Tales - Reloaded" is intended to refresh the memory, Jacqueline Ditt shows nine artworks in her usual style, expressive, surreal sometimes mixed with Pop Art elements. The Artist submits that it can be critical to feed especially children's brains with subliminal prejudice. For example, jung girls have to be pretty, trustful, obedient, innocent and always looking for a wealthy prince. Otherwise elder women are unsightly, preferentially stepmothers are greedy, jealous, bitchy and also deceitful. While boys are handsome princes or at least enormous clever to solve any dangerous task, frequently they are rich, often kings if they are elder, or heroes and brave knights. All this "Fairy stuff"  is undoubtedly entertaining and sometimes even instructive, so the artist doesn't want to change them in substance but they are what they are very popular "old stories" and relating to traditial stereotypes we should rather turn to emancipation. - "Fairy Tales - Reloaded" 7 paintings and 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt


In his recent song, Mario Strack takes, as he often does, a metaphoric look at the society. It starts with the ambiguous title "How They Look". The lyrics are about passive observing right up to ignorance as well as offensive acting right up to outrage. Despite of the truly bad results, caused by these activities, there is, except for some doubters, the relaxed feeling that they will get away with this and everything will turn out fine.
The pictures for the computer animated clip are done in radically minimalistic style. Graphics as the ones, used in the past to illustrate pieces like "Generator" or "At the Club". Some moving typography is also part of it. As always, a limited edition of keyframes in fine art print will be released.

Jede Stadt hat ihre einzigartige pulsierende Stimmung und wir können sie erspüren, egal ob wir Fremde oder Einheimische sind. Jedoch für diejenigen, die schon lange ortsansässig sind ist die Verbindung zu ihrer Heimatstadt viel intensiver, sogar irgendwie mystisch. Man kann nicht erklären was es ist, die verschiedensten Leute aus unterschiedlichsten Ländern wissen, dass sie eine Verbindung zu ihrem Heimatort haben aber sie können das Geheimnis dieser Empfindung nicht ergründen. Dies ist jedoch nicht der einzige Aspekt, warum sich Jacqueline Ditt für dieses Ausstellungsthema interessierte. Einige ihrer aktuellen Kunstwerke beinhalten auch symbolische Anspielungen, die daran erinnern, dass das persönliche Glück selbst in der grössten Betonwüste zu finden ist. - 10 Gemälde & 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt.


Im Gegensatz zur gerne genutzten Vorstellung von der einen Welt könnte genauso gut auch von einer Vielzahl paralleler Welten ausgegangen werden. Um den Überblick zu behalten muss nummeriert werden und Mario Strack fängt folgerichtig zunächst mit der Nummer eins an, "World One", ein Instrumental Stück. Ob dies sinnvoll weiter geführt werden sollte ist eigentlich belanglos, denn als Künstler befindet man sich dauerhaft in einem Zustand edlen Wahnsinns - "Sublime Insanity", so der Titel des neuen Liedes, das uns, vor allem auch lyrisch, genau in diese Untiefen führt. Illustriert sind beide Kompositionen mit bewegten, teilweise abstrakten  Grafiken, die diese in den visuellen Raum erweitern.

Every city has an unique vibrant mood and we can feel it as a stranger as well as locals. But for these who are native residents the connection to their hometown is much more intensive or in fact mystical. You can't explain what it is but it's special, different people from different countries and towns will know that there is a relationship to their familiar place but they won't find out the secret. Nevertheless this is not the single aspect, why Jacqueline Ditt has been interested in this exhibition topic. Some of their recent artworks also include some symbolic allusions that allow to remember the fact, that personal luck can be found even in the deepest concrete jungle. - 10 paintings & 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt.


In opposite to the often used notion of this one world you could just as well think of numerous worlds. To keep an overview it is necessary to number them and consequently, Mario Strack starts with "World One", an instrumental piece. It's irrelevant to ask if it does make any sense to continue this because as an artist you are constantly in a state of "Sublime Insanity" - the title of the new song that, mainly lyrically, leads one to exactly these shoals. Both tracks are illustrated with animated, partially abstract graphics that expand the compositions to the visual realm.

Während der letzten Jahrzehnte haben Jungs Superhelden, Mädchen und Autos, Mädchen wiederum Jungs, Prinzessinnen und Pferde an ihre Zimmerwände "gepinnt", erwachsene Männer erfreuten sich an Sexbomben und Frauen an Traummännern. Mittels Posters oder Zeitungsausfaltern gestalteten sie einen persönlichen Raum und definierten ihren Sinn des Lebens. In letzter Zeit hat sich jedoch etwas geändert, eine nicht endende Flut von Bildern aller Art schreit uns an und will mit anderen "geteilt" oder auf unsere virtuellen Wände im Internet "gepostet" werden. Viele Leute machen mit und die Absicht ist die gleiche wie immer, nämlich einen einzigartigen Eindruck ihrer Persönlichkeit zu vermitteln. Jacqueline Ditts aktuelle Ausstellung thematisiert Portotypen einer "Pin (Me) up" Schau, welche natürlich auch den virtuellen Raum erobern werden, denn alle Gemälde sind "ins Netz hochgeladen" um sich im Datenstrom einem weltweiten Publikum zu präsentieren - 13 Gemälde von Jacqueline Ditt.

Den Boden versiegeln bedeutet ihn in Besitz nehmen, aber es bedeutet auch, ihm die Luft abschnüren und ihn vom Wasser abzuschirmen.
Glücklicherweise sind diese Bemühungen nicht von langer Dauer.
Wind und Wetter setzten den Belägen zu, Risse entstehen und Biomasse füllt die Spalten.
Diese Rückeroberung des Alphaltdschungels durch das Leben war, ein weiteres mal, die Inspiration zu Mario Stracks Komposition "Pavement Undermined" (unterhöhltes Pflaster), ein lyrisches Stück Musik, illustriert mit Fotografien eines heldenhaften Grassbüschels das versucht, mitten auf der Fahrbahn zu überleben.

During the last decades boys pinned up superheroes, girls and cars again girls pinned boys, princesses and horses on the walls of their rooms, adult man delighted in bombshells and women in dreamboys. Via posters or centerfolds they created an own personal space and defined their sense of life. Recently something has changed, a nonstop flood of all kinds of pictures cries "pin me up" and wants to be "shared or posted" on the virtual walls all over the internet. Many people take part and the intention is as ever, just show a unique impression of their personality. Jacqueline Ditt's recent exhibition thematises prototypes of a "Pin (Me) Up" show, which certainly will capture the virtual space, because all paintings are "Uploaded" on the net datastream to be seen by a worldwide audience - 13 paintings by Jacqueline Ditt.

Sealing the ground means to take possession of it, but it also means to suffocate the earth and shield it from the water.
Fortunately, these efforts do not last for long.
Wind and weather affect the coating, cracks appear and biomass is filling the gaps.
This reconquest of the asphalt desert by life was, once again, the inspiration to Mario Strack's composition "Pavement Undermined", a lyrical piece of music, illustrated with photographs of a heroic tuft of grass, trying to survive in the middle of the roadway.

Vorwiegend Schwarz und Weiss "Mainly Black & White" ist das Thema der aktuellen Ausstellung von Jacqueline Ditt.
Das heisst der Schwerpunkt liegt weitgehend auf diesen zwei "achromatischen (unbunten) Farben", diese Beschränkung ist von Zeit zu Zeit für den Künstler, sowie auch für den Rezipienten der Werke notwendig, um die Konzentration zurück zu erlangen.
Einige andere Farben werden sanft oder punktuell ins Spiel gebracht, sie sollen aber den akzentuierten kontrastreichen Gesammteindruck nicht stören. Es ist eine Art "Gedanken löschen" für einen erfrischenden Neuanfang.

In der menschlichen Kultur haben Paarungsrituale, bei denen man versucht, sich durch extatisches Tanzen kollektiv in eine Zustand der Trance zu versetzt eine lange Tradition.
Sogar in heutigen, "modernen" Gesellschaften geschieht es, zumindest in Ansätzen und einer der Plätze, an denen es statt findet ist "der Klub".
Die spezielle Stimmung an diesen Orten inspirierte Mario Strack zu seinem aktuellen Titel "At the Club" und konsequenter Weise handelt es sich um ein Stück elektronische Tanzmusik.
Das dazugehörige Video ist deshalb mit schlagkräftigen, leuchtenden Computergrafiken gestaltet.
Nachdem man sich derart verausgabt hat braucht man dringend eine Ruhephase.
"Madarine", Marios zweiter aktueller Titel - ein kontemplatives Instrumentalstück, komponiert rund um ein Stilleben mit Obst ist dafür genau das richtige.

Mainly Black & White is the topic of the recent exhibition of  Jacqueline Ditt. That means the focus is almost on these two "achromatic colours", from time to time this restriction is necessary for the artist and also for the recipient of the artworks, to regain concentration. Some other coloures are also involved, slighly or spotted, but they shall not disturb the accentuated high-contrast overall impression. It is a kind of "mind reset" for a refreshing newstart.
The exhibition "Mainly Back & White" shows nine limited graphics by Jacqueline Ditt.

In human culture, mating rituals where people try to get themselves collectively in a state of trance by ecstatic dancing, have a long tradition.
Even in today's "modern" societies it is, at least rudimentarily, happening and one of the places where they do it is "the club".
The specific mood of these locations inspired Mario Strack to write his recent track "At the Club" and consequently it is a piece of electronic dance music.
The Clip, appertaining to it is therefore made from punchy and flashy computer graphics.
After such a hard rave everyone needs to chill out.
"Mandarine", Mario's second new track - a contemplative, instrumental piece, composed around a fruity still life, exactly fits the needs.

Heute bedeutet Koffein Kapsel-Kaffee oder "Coffee To Go" im Plastikbecher, auch stylische Kaffeemaschinen sind absolut "kultig".  Geschwindigkeit ist das Zeichen der Zeit und dieser "legale Stoff" ist die Nummer eins für einen perfekten, raschen Tages- und Arbeitsablauf. Aber der Konsum hat eine lange Tradition, in vielen Kulturen kennt man die Benutzung schon von alters her und Koffein ist auch Inhaltsstoff von verschiedenen anderen Pflanzen, zum Beispiel schwarzem und grünem Tee. Kaffeehäuser waren Plätze um Konversation zu pflegen und die Teezeit oft eine Zeremonie. Natürlich ist die Frage "Kaffee oder Tee" auch Geschmackssache aber ungeachtet dessen was die Leute bevorzugen so ist es wohl kein Genuss das Getränk, wie heute in Hast zu konsumieren. - Zwölf  Gemälde mit Assozationen zum Thema "Coffein" von Jacqueline Ditt. 


Normalerweise ist der Strich nur Mittel zum Zweck. Er umreisst, zeichnet oder beschreibt ein bestimmtes Objekt oder vermittelt eine konkrete Botschaft.
Von einem psychologischen oder einem künstlerischen Standpunkt aus werden der Strich und seine Anordnung im Format aber selbst zum Gegenstand der Betrachtung.
Nicht mit dem "Was" sondern mit dem "Wie" startet Mario Strack seine Meditation über den Strich und einige seiner Verwandten. Konsequenter Weise hat der Künstler das Musik-Video zu seinem lyrischen Electro-Rock Titel "The Stroke" dann auch mit bewegten, abstrakten Grafiken gestaltet.

Today caffeine means capsule coffee or "coffee to go" in plastic cups, even a stylish coffee machine is seriously "cult". Speed is the sign of the time and this "legal substance" is the number one for the perfect daily routine and a fast workflow. But the consumption has a long tradition, in many cultures it's used from ancient times and caffeine is also ingrediant of different other plants, for example black and green tea, coffe houses were places for conversation and teatime often was a ceremony. Naturally the question "coffee or tea" is also a matter of taste and regardless what people prefere it's not a pleasure at all  to consume it in haste as nowadays. - Twelve paintings in association to the topic "Coffein" (caffeine)  by Jacqueline Ditt.


Usually, the stroke is only a means to an end. It outlines, draws or describes a specific object or a concrete message is submitted.
From a psychological or an artistical point of view, the stroke itself and its layout become the subject of consideration.
Not with the "What" but with the "How" Mario Strack starts his meditation about the stroke and some of its relatives. Consequently, the artist created the clip for his lyrical electro rock song "The Stroke" by using animated, abstract graphics.
