Wer ist für die Schönheitsstandards in unserer Gesellschaft verantwortlich? Ist die Wahrnehmung von "Perfekter Form" naturgegeben oder ist dies ein kulturelles Phänomen? Manchmal erscheint es als wäre diese Ambition eine irrationale Phantasie von Modedesignern oder auf dem Zeitgeist basierend. Ein weiterer Aspekt ist das Zusammenspiel von Form und Funktion, die eine Anpassung notwendig macht, selbst in diesem Fall ist das Ergebnis nicht immer atemberaubend. Abgesehen davon, dass die Natur nicht die Schöpfung beurteilt, perfekt oder nicht ist eine von Menschen erfundene Vorgabe. Wände und Mauern - sie begrenzen den Blick und den Geist. Wer sich auf die Suche macht, findet vielleicht ein Loch um durch zu schauen. Was er dann sieht ist irgend eine Wirklichkeit, möglicherweise die Wahrheit, vermutlich aber nur eine Illusion. "The Hole" - neue Photographien von Mario Strack

Who is responsibel for the beauty standards in our society? Is the perception of "Perfect Shape" suggested by nature or is it a cultural phenomenon. Sometimes this ambition seems to be an irrational fancy of fashion designers or based on the spirit of the age. Another aspect is the interaction of shape and function what makes an adjustment necessary, even in this case the result is not always breathtaking. Apart from that, nature is not judging creation, perfect or not is a guideline invented by humans. Barriers and Walls - they are constraining the view and the mind. The one who is searching will maybe find a hole to look through. What he sees than is some kind of reality, possibly the truth, presumably just an illusion. "The Hole" - new photographs by Mario Strack

Frieden ist zurzeit nicht "En Vogue", gut ist böse und böse ist großartig, also wäre es nötig, das Rad in eine andere Richtung zu drehen.
Es könnte zwar ein unrealistischer Traum sein, die Leute zu stoppen hasserfüllt zu denken und auch Kunst ist nicht in der Lage die Welt zu verändern, aber sie kann die Botschaft von Liebe und Frieden aussenden.
So sollten die Menschen diese überdenken und es wagen einen großen Schritt in eine friedliche Zukunft zu machen. Es ist an der Zeit, ein paar Friedenszeichen auszusenden, dies tut die Malerin in ihrer Ausstellung - "Peace People and other" 8 Gemälde and 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt


Während er in der traurigen Wirklichkeit fortwährend abgeholzt wird, nimmt er in den Vorstellungen vieler Gesellschaften einen besonderen Platz ein. Der Wald - Lebensraum für Pflanzen und Tiere, natürlich, aber eben auch Projektionsfläche für Geheimnisse, Mythen und Ängste, vor allem jedoch seltsam anheimelnd.
Genau diese Stimmung inspirierte Mario Strack bei der Komposition des Stückes "The Forest". Starkes Schlagwerk, zerbrechliche Harmonien und eine synthetische Stimme, die abstrakt und expressiv die urwüchsige Kraft des Waldes in Melodie verwandelt.
Illustriert hat der Künstler die Musik mit Photographien natürlicher Strukturen. Aufnahmen von Humus über Rinden bis zu Blättern und Blüten verschmelzen im Video zu einer fortlaufenden Metamorphose.

Peace is not "En Vogue" these days, good is bad and bad is great, so it would be necessary to turn the wheel in an other direction.
Indeed it might be a visionary dream to stop people to think in a hateful way and also art is not enabled to change the world, but it can send out the message of love and peace.
So people should think it over and dare to make a huge step into a peaceful future. It is time to send out some peace signs so did the painter in her exhibition - "Peace People and other" 8 paintings and 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt


While, in the sad reality, it is constantly cleared, in the imagination of many societies it takes a special place. The Forest - habitat for plants and animals of course, likewise also projection surface for secrets, myths and anxieties but principally peculiarly quaint.
It was exactly this mood, that inspired Mario Strack as he was composing the piece "The Forest". Strong percussion, fragile harmonies and a synthetic voice that is, abstract and expressive, transforming the elemental power of the forest into melody.
The artist was using photographs of natural structures to illustrate the music. In the video, shots from humus to rinds to leaves and blossoms melt into a constant metamorphosis.

Während der letzten Jahrzehnte haben Jungs Superhelden, Mädchen und Autos, Mädchen wiederum Jungs, Prinzessinnen und Pferde an ihre Zimmerwände "gepinnt", erwachsene Männer erfreuten sich an Sexbomben und Frauen an Traummännern. Mittels Posters oder Zeitungsausfaltern gestalteten sie einen persönlichen Raum und definierten ihren Sinn des Lebens. In letzter Zeit hat sich jedoch etwas geändert, eine nicht endende Flut von Bildern aller Art schreit uns an und will mit anderen "geteilt" oder auf unsere virtuellen Wände im Internet "gepostet" werden. Viele Leute machen mit und die Absicht ist die gleiche wie immer, nämlich einen einzigartigen Eindruck ihrer Persönlichkeit zu vermitteln. Jacqueline Ditts aktuelle Ausstellung thematisiert Portotypen einer "Pin (Me) up" Schau, welche natürlich auch den virtuellen Raum erobern werden, denn alle Gemälde sind "ins Netz hochgeladen" um sich im Datenstrom einem weltweiten Publikum zu präsentieren - 13 Gemälde von Jacqueline Ditt.

Den Boden versiegeln bedeutet ihn in Besitz nehmen, aber es bedeutet auch, ihm die Luft abschnüren und ihn vom Wasser abzuschirmen.
Glücklicherweise sind diese Bemühungen nicht von langer Dauer.
Wind und Wetter setzten den Belägen zu, Risse entstehen und Biomasse füllt die Spalten.
Diese Rückeroberung des Alphaltdschungels durch das Leben war, ein weiteres mal, die Inspiration zu Mario Stracks Komposition "Pavement Undermined" (unterhöhltes Pflaster), ein lyrisches Stück Musik, illustriert mit Fotografien eines heldenhaften Grassbüschels das versucht, mitten auf der Fahrbahn zu überleben.

During the last decades boys pinned up superheroes, girls and cars again girls pinned boys, princesses and horses on the walls of their rooms, adult man delighted in bombshells and women in dreamboys. Via posters or centerfolds they created an own personal space and defined their sense of life. Recently something has changed, a nonstop flood of all kinds of pictures cries "pin me up" and wants to be "shared or posted" on the virtual walls all over the internet. Many people take part and the intention is as ever, just show a unique impression of their personality. Jacqueline Ditt's recent exhibition thematises prototypes of a "Pin (Me) Up" show, which certainly will capture the virtual space, because all paintings are "Uploaded" on the net datastream to be seen by a worldwide audience - 13 paintings by Jacqueline Ditt.

Sealing the ground means to take possession of it, but it also means to suffocate the earth and shield it from the water.
Fortunately, these efforts do not last for long.
Wind and weather affect the coating, cracks appear and biomass is filling the gaps.
This reconquest of the asphalt desert by life was, once again, the inspiration to Mario Strack's composition "Pavement Undermined", a lyrical piece of music, illustrated with photographs of a heroic tuft of grass, trying to survive in the middle of the roadway.

Vorwiegend Schwarz und Weiss "Mainly Black & White" ist das Thema der aktuellen Ausstellung von Jacqueline Ditt.
Das heisst der Schwerpunkt liegt weitgehend auf diesen zwei "achromatischen (unbunten) Farben", diese Beschränkung ist von Zeit zu Zeit für den Künstler, sowie auch für den Rezipienten der Werke notwendig, um die Konzentration zurück zu erlangen.
Einige andere Farben werden sanft oder punktuell ins Spiel gebracht, sie sollen aber den akzentuierten kontrastreichen Gesammteindruck nicht stören. Es ist eine Art "Gedanken löschen" für einen erfrischenden Neuanfang.

In der menschlichen Kultur haben Paarungsrituale, bei denen man versucht, sich durch extatisches Tanzen kollektiv in eine Zustand der Trance zu versetzt eine lange Tradition.
Sogar in heutigen, "modernen" Gesellschaften geschieht es, zumindest in Ansätzen und einer der Plätze, an denen es statt findet ist "der Klub".
Die spezielle Stimmung an diesen Orten inspirierte Mario Strack zu seinem aktuellen Titel "At the Club" und konsequenter Weise handelt es sich um ein Stück elektronische Tanzmusik.
Das dazugehörige Video ist deshalb mit schlagkräftigen, leuchtenden Computergrafiken gestaltet.
Nachdem man sich derart verausgabt hat braucht man dringend eine Ruhephase.
"Madarine", Marios zweiter aktueller Titel - ein kontemplatives Instrumentalstück, komponiert rund um ein Stilleben mit Obst ist dafür genau das richtige.

Mainly Black & White is the topic of the recent exhibition of  Jacqueline Ditt. That means the focus is almost on these two "achromatic colours", from time to time this restriction is necessary for the artist and also for the recipient of the artworks, to regain concentration. Some other coloures are also involved, slighly or spotted, but they shall not disturb the accentuated high-contrast overall impression. It is a kind of "mind reset" for a refreshing newstart.
The exhibition "Mainly Back & White" shows nine limited graphics by Jacqueline Ditt.

In human culture, mating rituals where people try to get themselves collectively in a state of trance by ecstatic dancing, have a long tradition.
Even in today's "modern" societies it is, at least rudimentarily, happening and one of the places where they do it is "the club".
The specific mood of these locations inspired Mario Strack to write his recent track "At the Club" and consequently it is a piece of electronic dance music.
The Clip, appertaining to it is therefore made from punchy and flashy computer graphics.
After such a hard rave everyone needs to chill out.
"Mandarine", Mario's second new track - a contemplative, instrumental piece, composed around a fruity still life, exactly fits the needs.
