Wer ist für die Schönheitsstandards in unserer Gesellschaft verantwortlich? Ist die Wahrnehmung von "Perfekter Form" naturgegeben oder ist dies ein kulturelles Phänomen? Manchmal erscheint es als wäre diese Ambition eine irrationale Phantasie von Modedesignern oder auf dem Zeitgeist basierend. Ein weiterer Aspekt ist das Zusammenspiel von Form und Funktion, die eine Anpassung notwendig macht, selbst in diesem Fall ist das Ergebnis nicht immer atemberaubend. Abgesehen davon, dass die Natur nicht die Schöpfung beurteilt, perfekt oder nicht ist eine von Menschen erfundene Vorgabe. Who is responsibel for the beauty standards in our society? Is the perception of "Perfect Shape" suggested by nature or is it a cultural phenomenon. Sometimes this ambition seems to be an irrational fancy of fashion designers or based on the spirit of the age. Another aspect is the interaction of shape and function what makes an adjustment necessary, even in this case the result is not always breathtaking. Apart from that, nature is not judging creation, perfect or not is a guideline invented by humans. Was heisst es ein Star zu sein? Bedeutet das einer der Millionen oder mehr Sterne zu sein, wie wir sie aus der Unendlichkeit des Universums kennen? Oder ist es eine bestimme Wesensart, die dich aus der Masse empor dringen lässt und diese dazu motiviert dir "Messias-gleich" zu folgen. Und was heisst es für die Person die zum Star erkoren wird? Der bekannteste von ihnen jedenfalls hat seinen Fans zu dienen, um deren Wünsche und Träume zu kompensieren, welche in ihrem eigenen Leben unerreichbar sind. Manchmal kann ein Star daran scheitern diese hochgeschraubten Erwartungen zu erfüllen, im besten Fall allerdings ist er in der Lage die Bühne als Ikone zu verlassen. In Wirklichkeit jedoch wird das Universum davon nicht berührt, denn in diesen Dimensionen hat dieser Fakt nicht einmal die Bedeutung eines einzelnen Sandkorns am Strand. - "All the Stars" 7 Gemälde und 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt

Wann immer die Krise auftaucht steigt das Bedürfnis nach bleibenden Werten. Die Nummer eins zur Beruhigung der Nerven sind hierbei traditionell die Edelmetalle und ihre glitzernden Verwandten, die Edelsteine. Der Versuch, die Werthaltigkeit dieser Stoffe auf die eigene Person zu übertragen gelingt aber nur scheinbar und nur für kurze Zeit. Zwischen den lebenden Wesen und der, irgendwie doch toten Materie gibt es wohl keine echten Berührungspunkte. "Noble Metal" - ein Lied von Mario Strack, illustriert mit wertvoll glänzenden Grafiken.

What does it mean to be a star? Being one of the millions or more as we know it from the infinite universe? Or is it a special spirit that makes you emerge from the masses, to make them follow you like a messiah? And what does it mean to the person that is picked as a star?  The best known at least has to serve his fans as compensation for the wishes and dreams they can not reach in their own life. Sometimes a star can fail in fulfilling these high hopes. However, in the best way he will be able to leave the stage as an icon, but as a matter of fact this won't touch the universe, because in these dimensions this fact has not even the meaning of a single grain of sand on the beach - "All the Stars" 7 paintings and 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt

Whenever the crisis arises, there's a growing need for permanent values. Number one for calming the nerves are, traditionally, the noble metals and their glistening relatives, the gemstones. The attempt to transfer the impairment of this stuff to one's own person only seems to work and just for a short time. Probably there are no real points of contact between the living beings and the, somehow dead, material. "Noble Metal" - a song by Mario Strack, illustrated with valuable shiny graphics.

Jede Stadt hat ihre einzigartige pulsierende Stimmung und wir können sie erspüren, egal ob wir Fremde oder Einheimische sind. Jedoch für diejenigen, die schon lange ortsansässig sind ist die Verbindung zu ihrer Heimatstadt viel intensiver, sogar irgendwie mystisch. Man kann nicht erklären was es ist, die verschiedensten Leute aus unterschiedlichsten Ländern wissen, dass sie eine Verbindung zu ihrem Heimatort haben aber sie können das Geheimnis dieser Empfindung nicht ergründen. Dies ist jedoch nicht der einzige Aspekt, warum sich Jacqueline Ditt für dieses Ausstellungsthema interessierte. Einige ihrer aktuellen Kunstwerke beinhalten auch symbolische Anspielungen, die daran erinnern, dass das persönliche Glück selbst in der grössten Betonwüste zu finden ist. - 10 Gemälde & 2 Grafiken von Jacqueline Ditt.


Im Gegensatz zur gerne genutzten Vorstellung von der einen Welt könnte genauso gut auch von einer Vielzahl paralleler Welten ausgegangen werden. Um den Überblick zu behalten muss nummeriert werden und Mario Strack fängt folgerichtig zunächst mit der Nummer eins an, "World One", ein Instrumental Stück. Ob dies sinnvoll weiter geführt werden sollte ist eigentlich belanglos, denn als Künstler befindet man sich dauerhaft in einem Zustand edlen Wahnsinns - "Sublime Insanity", so der Titel des neuen Liedes, das uns, vor allem auch lyrisch, genau in diese Untiefen führt. Illustriert sind beide Kompositionen mit bewegten, teilweise abstrakten  Grafiken, die diese in den visuellen Raum erweitern.

Every city has an unique vibrant mood and we can feel it as a stranger as well as locals. But for these who are native residents the connection to their hometown is much more intensive or in fact mystical. You can't explain what it is but it's special, different people from different countries and towns will know that there is a relationship to their familiar place but they won't find out the secret. Nevertheless this is not the single aspect, why Jacqueline Ditt has been interested in this exhibition topic. Some of their recent artworks also include some symbolic allusions that allow to remember the fact, that personal luck can be found even in the deepest concrete jungle. - 10 paintings & 2 graphics by Jacqueline Ditt.


In opposite to the often used notion of this one world you could just as well think of numerous worlds. To keep an overview it is necessary to number them and consequently, Mario Strack starts with "World One", an instrumental piece. It's irrelevant to ask if it does make any sense to continue this because as an artist you are constantly in a state of "Sublime Insanity" - the title of the new song that, mainly lyrically, leads one to exactly these shoals. Both tracks are illustrated with animated, partially abstract graphics that expand the compositions to the visual realm.

Vorwiegend Schwarz und Weiss "Mainly Black & White" ist das Thema der aktuellen Ausstellung von Jacqueline Ditt.
Das heisst der Schwerpunkt liegt weitgehend auf diesen zwei "achromatischen (unbunten) Farben", diese Beschränkung ist von Zeit zu Zeit für den Künstler, sowie auch für den Rezipienten der Werke notwendig, um die Konzentration zurück zu erlangen.
Einige andere Farben werden sanft oder punktuell ins Spiel gebracht, sie sollen aber den akzentuierten kontrastreichen Gesammteindruck nicht stören. Es ist eine Art "Gedanken löschen" für einen erfrischenden Neuanfang.

In der menschlichen Kultur haben Paarungsrituale, bei denen man versucht, sich durch extatisches Tanzen kollektiv in eine Zustand der Trance zu versetzt eine lange Tradition.
Sogar in heutigen, "modernen" Gesellschaften geschieht es, zumindest in Ansätzen und einer der Plätze, an denen es statt findet ist "der Klub".
Die spezielle Stimmung an diesen Orten inspirierte Mario Strack zu seinem aktuellen Titel "At the Club" und konsequenter Weise handelt es sich um ein Stück elektronische Tanzmusik.
Das dazugehörige Video ist deshalb mit schlagkräftigen, leuchtenden Computergrafiken gestaltet.
Nachdem man sich derart verausgabt hat braucht man dringend eine Ruhephase.
"Madarine", Marios zweiter aktueller Titel - ein kontemplatives Instrumentalstück, komponiert rund um ein Stilleben mit Obst ist dafür genau das richtige.

Mainly Black & White is the topic of the recent exhibition of  Jacqueline Ditt. That means the focus is almost on these two "achromatic colours", from time to time this restriction is necessary for the artist and also for the recipient of the artworks, to regain concentration. Some other coloures are also involved, slighly or spotted, but they shall not disturb the accentuated high-contrast overall impression. It is a kind of "mind reset" for a refreshing newstart.
The exhibition "Mainly Back & White" shows nine limited graphics by Jacqueline Ditt.

In human culture, mating rituals where people try to get themselves collectively in a state of trance by ecstatic dancing, have a long tradition.
Even in today's "modern" societies it is, at least rudimentarily, happening and one of the places where they do it is "the club".
The specific mood of these locations inspired Mario Strack to write his recent track "At the Club" and consequently it is a piece of electronic dance music.
The Clip, appertaining to it is therefore made from punchy and flashy computer graphics.
After such a hard rave everyone needs to chill out.
"Mandarine", Mario's second new track - a contemplative, instrumental piece, composed around a fruity still life, exactly fits the needs.

Frei wie ein Vogel zu sein ist ein Sprichwort und ein alter Menschheitstraum, seit jeher bewundern und beneiden wir diese Gattung wegen ihrer überlegenen Fähigkeiten zur Fortbewegung. Nicht nur in der Luft sondern auch im Wasser ist es für Vögel problemlos auch grosse Strecken zu überwinden, die Faszination hierfür hat die Menschen dazu angespornt es ihnen gleich zu tun. Dies ist zum Teil auch gelungen, mit Schiffen und allerlei Flugmaschinen können wir heute die Welt bereisen , ähnlich wie Zug- oder Wasservögel nur leider fehlt es uns letztendlich doch an der Eleganz und Leichtigkeit im Vergleich zu diesen bizarren Wesen, die sich so deutlich von uns unterscheiden. Für einige ist es eine magische Zahl, für andere einfach nur eine Glückszahl. Relegionsgemeinschaften, Dichter und Mystiker aller Richtungen benutzen Sie gerne und häufig. Mit senem aktuellen Werk fügt Mario Strack der Sieben eine weitere Facette hinzu, zitiert bekannte Siebener-Konstellationen und erdichtet einige neue. Lyrischer elektro Rock im Siebenvierteltakt. A magic number to some, to others simply a lucky number. Denominations, poets and mystics of all kinds use it often and with pleasure. In his recent work Mario Strack ads another facet to the seven, cites well-known seven constellations and invents some new ones. Lyrical electro rock in seven-four time. To be free like a bird is a saying and a story of humankind's age-old dream, always this species was admired and envied for it‘s superior capability of movement. Birds overcome long distances not only airborne but also by sea, this motivated humans acting in the same maner. In part it was successful, today we are able to move around the world with ships and airplanes, similar to water– or migratory birds. Finally however in comparision with this bizzar creatures there is missing some easyness and elegance, that is what makes the considerable difference.
